Evolving Young Girls Mentoring Organization Inc.

Evolving Young Girls Mentoring Organization was founded in May 2022. Our mission is to provide resources to families while teaching young girls life skills. We serve ages 7 to 13 years old and will expand to serve older adolescents ranging in ages 14 to 19 years old. The program will serve Baltimore City youth and will run for 13 weeks. There will be 3 cohorts a year. Our goal is to eradicate the stereotypes that young girls that reside in the Inner City of Baltimore can not be successful. Another focal area of EYG is entrepreneurship which will to teach young girls the importance of one day owning their own business. At the end of each cohort, we will take have a closing ceremony. During the ceremony each young girl will have the opportunity to display something that they learned throughout the program. EYG will also bridge the gap by connecting resources to families that participate in the program.

Vision: Evolving Young Girls will be the gap that connects resources to inner city girls and their families; to be engaging and nurturing while providing learning workshops; and to aid in eradicating the stereotypes that young girl’s residing in the inner city of Baltimore cannot be productive and successful.

Also, to provide resources to families while; mentoring and teaching enrichment workshops to young girls who reside in the inner city of Baltimore, Maryland.
